A San Diego Gaslamp favorite! This is our second visit and it was even better than the first. Everything we ordered was delicious! We ordered the breakfast burrito and breakfast company flight with the crème brûlée French toast, mashed potato waffle, and buttermilk waffle with fried chicken. The flight is fun because you can pick from the waffles, pancakes, and French toast options so it gives you the freedom to try a variety of items. Trust me when I tell you that the mashed potato waffle is one of the best items I've eaten in a while! This savory waffle is so flavorful. Loved the cheese sauce, sausage, and green onions mix on top. My favorite out of the 3 I chose and don't get me wrong, the crème brûlée French toast and buttermilk waffle w/fried chicken were so so good. Can't go wrong with any of them really. The restaurant itself is decently sized, great decor, and fun ambiance. They were great at accommodating my son's stroller. Service was really great despite being a noon visit. I can't wait to go back!

This place was hopping on a Monday morning at 9:30 am. The menu was creative but I really like eggs benedict and there was only a vegan version. Our server said I could have a regular one with bacon. It came and was cold and had a dribble of hollandaise sauce on top of very chewy bacon. I left some of the cold potatoes. Yes, I could have sent it back, but I was hungry and my boyfriend and I were grouchy over other issues. Sigh. The coffee was hot and our waiter kept our coffees full (mine was decaf and he gave me the orange pot always because I check!) He also offered a to go cup of coffee which was nice. The music was loud and contributed to the fun atmosphere.

We were in town for comic con and this was the closest breakfast spot not immediately on F St. so it was a little quieter than the other spots but still quite busy given all the people. We waited about 10 minutes for a spot at 9am on a Thursday, which wasn't terrible. Our server was the sweetest. She was definitely slammed with tables but still managed to check on us multiple times and chit chatted about the convention and whatnot. The food definitely hit the spot. The sandwich I got wasn't the vegan one. It was the brioche one. Absolutely delicious, but just a little too small to be satisfying/filling. My wife got the vegan Benedict which had some really good flavor to it and whatever vegan poached eggs are made of was pretty tasty. The beer was nice and cold. The potatoes were so-so, the lowlight of the meal.

This is such a nice place. We showed up, it was super busy, we were told a 30 minute wait and then got our "your table is ready" text in no time at all. The staff was lovely. Just attentive enough without being overbearing. The food and cocktails were good too! I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area.
